Interiors Penthouse Riverside Apartment, Warsaw
The design concept for this 200 sqm apartment in the centre of Warsaw, Poland, was inspired by the nearby Vistula River, visible from the apartment’s windows. The interior draws from the subtle beauty of the river’s sandy banks and natural landscape, translating these references into a calm palette of light hues, earthy tones, and carefully selected natural materials. Soft beiges, warm neutrals, and tactile finishes echo the textures of sand, stone, and driftwood, creating an atmosphere that feels grounded and connected to the surrounding environment. The brief for the project emerged through a series of conversations with the client, who envisioned a home that would feel timeless and refined while offering a sense of retreat from the energy of the city. The objective was to design a high-end apartment that balances sophistication with a relaxed, almost meditative quality—an interior that feels quietly luxurious rather than overtly decorative. The design language embraces minimalism, but with warmth and depth. Clean architectural lines are softened by layered materials such as natural wood, stone surfaces, and textured fabrics. Rather than relying on bold gestures, the space focuses on proportion, light, and craftsmanship. Carefully curated details, subtle transitions between materials, bespoke joinery, and sculptural lighting - create moments of refinement while maintaining a calm and uncluttered atmosphere
